Another cartoon set in a shop!

This isn't the first time I've drawn a cartoon set in a shop. I've done all sorts of places where you can buy stuff. Computer shops to green grocers. All of them have been done. I don't think I've ever done one set in a nail bar, but those places just are not funny enough to warrant a cartoon in them. Some one asked me the other day why the title of the cartoon is posted in light grey above. That's so you can't see it, but Google can. And so far this has worked. Until someone asked that question, and I mentioned it just now. It's all about indexing, although I freely admit I don't understand the complicated bits, I do know that Spiders can't tell that it's a cartoon, so they need some help. Hence the unobtrusive text above. I'd write hilariously funny cartoon, but I think that might be pushing it a bit. Anyone looking for a bag cartoon will hopefully find it.

Screens Saver Cartoon.Sometimes I sit and waits for inspiration, and other times it just pop into my head. This one was inspired by a chance remark from Matt at BC forums. He was doing a smashing impression of an old git, moaning about the superficial features on modern mobile phones. Bingo - the idea was born and it also provides a great excuse for wasting time on forums. I mean researching ideas on forums.

I can't be bothered to write anything witty or insightful, so I won't. It's a cartoon. There's many others. Look at this one, then look at some more, then move along. It'd be nice if you considered coming back for another visit in a few days, just to see if there's another cartoon here, but you don't have to. My own cat has a weight problem. Inspiration is everywhere.

Well this has been a very good week for the blog. All figures are up, visitor numbers (thanks to some very helpful stumblers) and revenue is also up and most importantly the number of cartoons posted are also up. Had some real fun this week with the cartoons. There's lots more in the works, so please keep revisiting and tell anyone you know about this site. I'd also like to thank those who sent in emails with ideas for cartoons. While I can't make promises to draw every single suggestion (sorry Bill, decapitation just isn't funny, I tried) they have all been food for thought.
